The World Needs More Thrifters. Think Second Hand First
The idea to create a second hand store first came about when two very stressed KZN students sat down and spoke about their passion for the environment and the amount of unworn clothes piling up in their closets. The fashion industry is one of the biggest contributors to climate change. This sparked the idea to create a student run thrift shop. Finders Keepers serves as a gateway to help other students make a quick buck by selling second hand clothes and reducing waste.
As members of Finders Keepers, our main goal is to reduce pollution and help others do the same.
In doing so, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint and make the world a more sustainable place.

Buying second hand saves you money. Most clothes are donated because the previous owner no longer likes it or the piece no longer fits them.
A lot of water and chemicals go into manufacturing our clothing. Approximately 1,800 gallons of water are required to make one pair of blue jeans.
